Is the problem rooted deeper in certain social customs prevalent in capitalist society :
Prosperity, social entertainment & generating demand seems to be the buzzword.
Can we not discourage the extreme connoiseurs of wine, liquor, beer, yes what have we?
Indeed hedonism, pleasing of one's business acquaintainces should be discouraged. Instead, product quality, customer service, etc should be the core concerns of businesses.
